It's actually a Nanocube 24 gal aquarium. The filter is good, it's a really easy tank to take care of. every thing is stock right now, the circulation seems to be fine, but when i look at the other tanks on here, they seem to have more then mine. i might put another powerhead on it but i don't think it's that necessary. i like the filter If its your first tank, do your homework for sure, i do a 3 gal. water change once a week, and i have no problems! It's a good begginer tank for people like me!

thanks a lot going online to look at the nano cube. I have a 55 gallon reef fish set up its a FOWLER with 45 lbs live rock.
I was looking for smaller reef for mushroom corals and 1 or 2 tiny fish.
Was going to use a skimmer but your right 3 gallon water change weekly will be fine.
Your inverts look great thus the lighting must be fine . Going to look it up as I know Marine depot has it just didnt look at the nano cube but will now
Thanks

Hey no problem. I got the tank for $199 with the stand for free from a local store. so you may want to try some aquatic stores in the area if there are any. they can usually get you a good deal. I hope to do a 210 gal one day when i buy my own house but for now this is fine. Yeah and don't get a skimmer because from what i here they are a waste of money and they don't work to well. Thanks for the comments and post a video of your tanks!!!!

I just ordered it online for like $240 (the pet stores in my area suck) and going to use wrought iron stand which is exact dimensions that I had for another tank think it was 30 extra high something like that but same dimensions.
What supplements do you use ?
imagine you use RO water?
I use only seachem salt for my fish /live rock tank as no need for supplements but do weekly water changes this tank will contain mushrooms-xenia .

It should arrive today according to tracking.
I am going to order a DI unit as prefer just to replace media than the RO .
after I make sure everything runs well, etc going to get 1 lb live rock per gallon to cycle it.
I never use RO for my FOWLER but have algae on the rocks (fish like it) but this is going to be a reef tank thus better use it want mushrooms-xenia-soft corals.
A friend of mine has a bi color dotty in his 30 gallon its a terror yours has great colors
 Thanks for the help

I just acquired a 24g used tank that has been established for 3 years. I would very much like to have the same fish as you do. Is this possible or is my tank too small.

BTW it came with a Humu & a Snow flake eel.

I would love to hear your recommendation.

well this tank is also a 24 gallon nano cube. you can for sure keep the same fish in it. if you are going to do a mini reef, don't overstock the tank with too many fish, since there is little water, the balance can easily be thrown off by the fish waste. just do a 2.5 gallon water change once a week and you will be fine. as far as the eel goes i wouldn't keep it in that tank it will probably get too big but im no expert

If you haven't already, remove the bio balls from chamber 1 as all they do is trap detritus which increases nitrates. You might also find that the sponges aren't catching a lot of waste because they don't fill the width of the chamber. Upgrading at least one of your powerheads to a maxijet 1200 will greatly increase your bio filtration and reduce the frequency of needed water changes.

You had faaar too many, and those that haven't perished from falling onto their backs will have starved to death. Not a problem though, they will find a balance that way. The same may be true for your blue legs. Your clean up crew was very large which may be the reason your tank still looks so sterile. When in comes to the time that you need more snails again. think about getting some ceriths. They'll help prevent sand compaction and rid that cyano you have in your substrate.
