Free from what though? You don’t show where these brown wires come from or what they are free from. Sorry for possibly asking something that seems obvious to you, but I’ve bought your kit, done everything up until this point and I see no small brown wires that I am supposed to connect to the 2 blue transformer wires.

Once both brown wires are free you can connect each brown wire to the two blue wires described in the video.

I hope that makes it a little more clear.

There is one brown wire within each of the two black cables that lead up into the canopy. If you lift up the reflector you’ll find that one brown wire has a plastic crimp connector on the end and the second brown wire has a “quick disconnect” molex connector attached to it that helps to power the transformer.

The plastic crimp connector needs to be cut off of the one wire and the plastic molex “quick disconnect” connector needs to be removed from the second wire.

6:29 The part where you mention removing 1/2″ of insulation from the two blue transformer wires you just cut… you never mention where these two brown wires are coming from inside the canopy that we’re supposed to be connecting to.. I guess its the fans?
